John Edward asked facebook readers this morning, “What Excites You?”

It’s a simple question, but it got me thinking.

Lots of things make me smile but I’ve never really given any thought as to what gets me excited.

After some soul searching, I concluded that it doesn’t really take much at all for me to feel excited.

It’s the little things that make my body tingle and my spirit soar with anticipation, like when I stumbled upon the chair in the above photo.

I didn’t buy the chair, but I did get excited when I saw it.

The reason for my tingling sensation is the creativity that went into making this chair unique.

It inspires me.

Seeing something that involves so much thought into creating the final result gives me hope for my own creativity and ideas.

It opens my world to more possibilities.

I have this mantra in my head that whispers to my heart:

The more you see, the more you know, the more you do.

I think ultimately that is the reason why I get so excited when I go on vacation.

My husband and I always choose some place we’ve never been before.

The anticipation of going somewhere unfamiliar, seeing new things, eating different food, exploring new places is all very exciting.

Heck, I even get a little excited when I get out of the house and take short drive.

It’s the changing up of the routine that adds excitement and breaks up the monotony.

Of course, there are bigger things that add excitement to my life, but it’s the little things that make the difference.

If you want to see excitement gleam in my eyes, surprise me with a letter or package in my mailbox;

Take me for a drive;

Create something beautiful that inspires me.

That’s all.

I’m easy.
